Underseas world birthday party

Last Sunday I had a birthday party at my house. The theme for my birthday party was Ocean. It was really cool because there was jellyfish at the main entrance hanging from the ceiling and the penguin was welcoming everyone to my  birthday party.  I invited my friends and their families. My mum made party hats that look like sharks. The living room turned into an underseas world because there was fish hanging from the ceiling. My friends and me ate lots of yummy party food.  We played a game of toss the ball through the hole. It was really fun. We played on the trampoline as it was really fun. I really enjoyed my birthday party and it was super awesome. 

Winter Sport

My winter sport is soccer. My coach is Mr Gavin Parsons and Mr Eyal Ben-Ezra and our manager is Mrs Meryl Parsons. In my team there is Margy, Charlie, Ethan, Maddie, Ben, Me, Hugo, Leo, Dariean and  Tamia. Today we lost and the other team won. The score was: 2-1. Last week we had a draw because the score was  3-3. I have fun playing soccer because last year I played too.

Don't know who is the opposing team for next week game just yet.

Manawatu Cultral expo 24th March 2012

On Saturday mum and dad and me went to Palmerston North with Amber's family. Her dad drove us there. First we went  around the expo ground. We stopped by a booth ran by a group of Thai ladies. Some of them were decked out in their traditional costume. I went to play a game of scooping up the plastic egg in a water tub. I got a price, which is a head scarf.

 

We met Chloe and Zoe at the ground they came with their mum by foot. Then Aunty Calista  took us to watch performances at the stage. We got to sit in the front. There was two Chinese shows. I enjoyed the Indian Bollywood hip hop dance. Then Aunty Calista bought us a strawberry flavored bubble tea. We drank it all up. It was very yummy!

After that we went to Uncle Jason's restaurant for lunch. It was very funny becuse I didn't know why Zoe liked me. Because when I said Hug she hugged me and when I said hold hands she held my hand.

I very enjoyed it.

 

My birthday party at the rink

On Sunday, it was birthday party. I had birthday party at the rink. My whole class came only James and Ethan didn't come. They were absent because they have fallen ill. I put on a sweet dress mum bought for me at Pumpkin Patch. I really love the dress. We roller skate around the rink.I can skate better this time and I'm really glad. Amber came too. At the end everyone left only Maddie was waiting for her mum to pick her up. I really enjoy the party.

Tell me why ?

Last Wednesday our class went to the Wanganui Regional museum as part of our class inquiry lesson. The title is called Tell me why? Awhina, the museum educator told two stories. The first story was called Henenakau's rope. The moral of the story is we are one whanau (family in Maori language). The characters were Maddie, Alex, James, Jessica and Ethan from my class. Awhina put cloaks on them.



The second story is called Battles of the Mountains. This story explains why Mount Taranaki is out in the west by itself, away from the other 4 mountains in North island. Caitlin, Finlay, Charlie, Ben and Liam played the role of the five mountains. Taranaki always looks back at Caitlin, who played Mount Pihanga. .

WIN WIN WIN !

The winter sport that I play is football. Last Saturday I played football at Wembley Park. We won 1-0 because Maddie scored a goal. It wasn't an ordinary game because Liam was the goal keeper instead of Ethan. In my team were Charlie, Ethan, Ben C , Maddie, Liam, Finlay, and Daniel. We  played against Churton Rockets. Liam got to be the player of the day. We have half time then we go the other way. Last time we had oranges but this time we had none. In Mr Crowhurst's games we didn't win and the other team won.

Saturday shopping spree

Today I went to Pumpkin Patch with my mum and dad in town. There are heaps of clothes and shoes on sales in the shop. Most of the items are below $20. My favorite one is the sneakers. You can wear the upper either up or down.It's main color is grey and it has pink roses. It also has a diamond stud on the side. My second favorite is the  bling-bling T-shirt. It has sequins on the front. My third favorite item is the shirt with pink roses and black stripes. I'm going to wear that shirt for my birthday party and everyone will like it. The sneakers that I'm wearing are cool.
